The history that surrounds me fills my mind with images of the 'time passed' (as in the action of time, not the past) that shapes the ground we walk. Personal histories or collective history that has shaped the environment we and I live with and experience.

And the light of these places or just the fleeting instant, captured. Falling sunset on stone or earth, rising dawn on a face, the light of colour is the translator of that flickering time. Or a metaphor or memorialized representation of a personal or collective memory.
